I have never canned a thing in my life but yesterday afternoon I made salsa. Both Mary (mother-in-law) and Abby (friend) helped me out by giving me recipes but of course I left them both at work and with no internet at home I had to wing it. Thankfully there was a recipe in the Community Reformed cookbook that I used as a rough guide. I made 12 jars and it was really easy; definitely something I'll take on again. Tonight we're going to make tacos and try it out....yum!!
